MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Twenty-Seventh Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Catherine Delligatti today announced applications are currently being accepted for an open position in the office of Magistrate in Berkeley County.
The position is open due to the retirement of Magistrate Bill Norris, effective September 4, 2026.
The chief judge of a judicial circuit is empowered to fill an open magistrate position when vacancies occur.
To qualify for the office, an individual must be a resident of Berkeley County, at least 21 years old, have a high school diploma or equivalent and cannot have a conviction for any felony or crime of moral turpitude.

Resumes and cover letters will be accepted through Friday, August 14.
