Filings
This figure shows cases filed in the Supreme Court of Appeals since January 1st of the current year, and their current case status.
| Status | Definition |
|---|---|
| Docketed | A scheduling order has been issued, and the appeal has been docketed. |
| Perfected | A petitioner’s brief and appendix were received and the appeal is perfected. |
| Mature | A reply brief was filed, or the time for filing expired, and the appeal is mature for review. Also encompasses cases that are under review, scheduled for conference, or decided. |
| Disposed | The mandate has been issued, and the case is concluded. |

This figure shows the average time elapsed in days between case maturity and disposition for each case type heard in the Supreme Court of Appeals.
