Judge Chris Glover was elected to the Twenty-Fourth Family Court Circuit (Berkeley and Jefferson Counties) in May 2024 and took office Jan. 1, 2025. 

In 2026, the Judicial Engagement Network awarded Judge Glover the 2026 Fellowship. This nationally recognized fellowship program allows judges to enhance their skills as judicial leaders within the court and their communities.

In 2025, Judge Glover presented Custody Law in West Virginia for the West Virginia Supreme Court- Approved Meditation Training.

During 2023 and 2024, Judge Glover served as president of the West Virginia Employment Lawyers Association, as a fellow of the Maryland Pro Bono Resource Center and as a family lawyer with the Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Service. 

While in private practice at Glover Law Firm PLLC, she served as a guardian ad litem and a West Virginia Supreme Court-approved family mediator. She volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) and a Rape and Domestic Violence Center counselor. 

Judge Glover worked as the managing immigration attorney for Catholic Charities West Virginia Migration and Refugee Services. She focused on serving vulnerable populations, including victims of crimes (child abuse, domestic violence and human trafficking). Judge Glover was admitted to practice in the federal immigration courts, the Board of Immigration Appeals, the United States District Court for the Northern District of West Virginia as well as in West Virginia and Maryland. 

Judge Glover earned two bachelor's degrees (both summa cum laude), a master's degree and a law degree from West Virginia University. She earned a master's degree and completed her Doctor of Philosophy work at Georgetown University. She taught Spanish and French at the university and secondary level and was named Outstanding Georgetown University Professor. 

Judge Glover coached varsity boys’ and girls’ basketball and officiated college basketball. She also serves as a basketball official through the West Virginia Secondary Schools Athletic Commission. 

Judge Glover lives with her two German Shepherds. Her German Shepherds work as bilingual comfort dogs.
