Juries
The right to trial by jury is guaranteed by the United States Constitution as well as the Constitution of the State of West Virginia. It is the right to have the facts in a controversy determined by a verdict of impartial jurors acting under the direction of a judge. As the liaison for the Circuit Clerks, the Division of Court Services provides technical assistance for issues involving juries in West Virginia.
